Conference Save the date: 26th Journées Francophones de Virologie

SFV-logo

The "Journées Francophones de Virologie" is the annual congress of the Société Française de Virologie (SFV), and is moving to Brussels in 2024! This annual congress brings together more than 500 researchers, engineers, technicians, students, pharmacists, veterinarians, doctors and professors. The themes addressed provide a global vision of advances in the field of molecular and cellular virology, whether medical, veterinary or plant-based.

General plenary lectures are organized, as well as specialized parallel sessions dedicated to the presentation of original work submitted by participants. In particular, this is an opportunity for PhD students, post-docs and young researchers to present their research work. Poster sessions are also organized, with the Renaud Mahieux Prize awarded for the best posters, and the best theses 2023 prizes awarded in collaboration with ANRS MIE.

This year, the JFV will start on Wednesday April 10 at 2pm and finish on Friday April 12 at around 3:30pm.

Most presentations will be in French but posters and presentations in English are welcome, and PhD students and young researchers are strongly welcome to join!
