Video First ‘My hero and me’ webinar

The BSVoM aims to leverage the dense Belgian network on viruses of microbes with a particular focus on supporting young generations. Therefore, a new initiative called the 'My hero and me' webinar series was launched.

With this initiative BSVoM aims to stimulate young researchers to get into contact with their scientific hero who is an inspiration source for their daily research, and to present jointly a seminar on their common topic.

The first ‘My hero and me’ webinar entitled “Different flavors of phage-host prediction powered by machine learning: how and why?”, given by Dimitri Boeckaerts and dr. Simon Roux, took place on October 27th, 2022.
